Dental Fees & Payment Options
Clear advice, personalised treatment planning, and no unexpected costs.
At Dentistry on George, we believe patients should feel informed and comfortable about fees from the outset.
As an independent private dental practice in Brisbane CBD, we provide personalised treatment recommendations based on your clinical needs, goals and preferences. We do not take a one-size-fits-all approach, and we do not believe treatment decisions should be shaped by third-party restrictions.
We are not preferred providers for any health fund. This allows us to focus on what is appropriate for you and the quality of care we provide.
Our Approach to Fees
We do not publish a full fee list online because dental treatment is not standard from one patient to the next.
The appropriate treatment — and therefore the fee — depends on a range of factors, including your oral health, any existing dental work, the complexity of care required, and your longer-term goals.
Following your examination, we will provide a clear written treatment plan outlining:
- the treatment options available to you
- the fees involved
- whether treatment is best completed in stages
- the benefits and limitations of each option
Our aim is straightforward: clear communication, careful recommendations, and no unexpected costs.
Private Health Funds, HICAPS & Payment Options
We accept all major private health funds and offer HICAPS for on-the-spot claiming at the time of your appointment.
We also accept EFTPOS and provide payment options for patients undertaking larger treatment plans.
Available payment options include:
Afterpay
Interest-free instalments over 4 payments.
TLC (Total Lifestyle Credit)
Suitable for larger or staged treatment plans.
If you would like to discuss payment options before booking, our team can talk you through what is available.
DVA and Child Dental Benefits Schedule
We accept eligible patients under the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) arrangements and the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).
If you would like to use DVA or CDBS for your appointment, please let our team know when booking so we can confirm eligibility and the services covered.
New Patient Examinations
For most new patients, the first step is a comprehensive examination.
New patient examinations are from $176.
What your examination may include
- discussion of your dental and medical history
- examination of the teeth, gums and soft tissues
- oral cancer screening
- assessment for decay, wear, cracks or failing dental work
- digital x-rays where clinically indicated
- clinical photographs where helpful for diagnosis or treatment planning
Following your assessment, your dentist will discuss the findings with you and provide personalised recommendations, including fees for any proposed treatment.

Independent Care, Clearly Explained
Many patients choose our practice because they value a more individual and considered approach.
Rather than working to the constraints of preferred provider arrangements, we focus on delivering care that is appropriate, carefully planned and tailored to the individual.
Whether you are attending for routine dental care, restorative treatment, cosmetic concerns or a second opinion, we believe you should understand both your options and the associated fees before deciding how to proceed.

I’ve been seeing Mishari at Dentistry on George for a few years now and highly recommend the practice. The clinic is conveniently located in the city, always spotless, and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. Mishari is incredibly meticulous and always takes the time to explain the different treatment options before proceeding, which I really appreciate. As someone who doesn’t particularly enjoy going to the dentist, the whole team does their best to make the experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible. A great practice all around.
