  • Will I always see the same dentist?

We have two dentists in our clinic, Mishari and Betty. We will always try to get you with the same dentist every time you visit.

  • Do you accept all health funds?

We welcome all health funds, but are not preferred providers for any. We are an independent practice, and all quotes and fees are individually tailored. You may like to read this ADA article (https://www.ada.org.au/rebates) for more information on health funds.

We have HICAPs so your health fund can be processed on the spot, and EFTPOS facilities for the gap payment.

  • What if I don’t have a health fund?

We have EFTPOS facilities and also accept cheques.

  • Are you expensive?

We base our fees on the Australian Dental Association’s average fee guide. We pride ourself on our quality and attention to detail and so charge accordingly. Every person is different and to be ale to give you the most accurate quote and the most approriate treatment, we take our time getting to know you and will never rush you.

We welcome you to come in for a full check-up: prices start at $75 for a new patient.

We want to be upfront about our prices – no one likes an unexpected bill. Which is why we let you know the costs before you commit. Phone or email us today for more information.

All of our materials/equipment are TGA approved and we use only local labs. We will never send your labwork (crowns, dentures, mouthguards etc) overseas.

  • What can I expect on my first visit?

    A comprehensive examination includes:

    • Getting you know you, your needs and wants
    • How your general health may be impacting your oral health, and vice versa.
    • Screening of your soft tissues (gums, tongue, palate, cheeks, lips etc) for any signs of disease or oral cancer
    • Checking the health of your gums around your teeth
    • Checking the teeth
    • Further investigations/tests, which may include x-rays (from $48 each)
    • Sometimes we have to refer you to radiology for a full mouth dental x-ray.

Once all this information has been collected, your bespoke treatment plan will be created. You will be given all the pros/cons and alternate treatments and associated costs.

  • When should I bring my child for their first dental appointment?

We love treating children and starting them off on a positive dental journey. The younger you can take your child to the dentist, the better. It gives them time to get used to the surroundings and the dentist, and also helps us spot any issues before they become a big problem.

Aim to bring your child when the first tooth erupts or by their 1st birthday (whichever comes first).

  • What if I have a dental emergency?

  • Can you improve my smile?

Everyone deserves a beautiful smile. Depending on what you are looking to achieve, we can provide tooth whitening, veneers, crowns and implant crowns, dentures and natural-looking white fillings. Look at our services to see more.

We also have great orthodontic colleauges that we can refer you to if you would like straighter teeth.

  • Do you have parking?

Unfortunately not. We find the easiest way to access us is by public transport (or bike or scooter!). See our how to find us section.

The closest car park to us is the Myer Centre Car park. You are able to pre-book online. Otherwise there is also a taxi rank right at our front door.

Will I always see the same dentist?

Dr Mishari Al-Dhafeeri has taken over the care of all of Dr Parry’s patients, so you will exclusively see him. If you were a patient of Dr. Parry, we still have all your records and dental images.
